For a homeowner in Salem or nearby weighing a maintenance contract or a driveway sealcoat, two things are worth settling before any truck arrives. If material is sold by volume — firewood, mulch, loam — put the quantity and how it gets measured in writing. And agree up front what happens to debris around neighbouring cars and property.
