O.E. Painting

A prune-colored house with an orange door on the east side — that was a March 2023 HomeAdvisor customer's description of the exterior Oseas painted for them, after he helped pick the color. O.E. Painting is a Providence painting outfit, and its HomeAdvisor page holds a 4.9-star average from 16 ratings. On that page the company describes itself as locally owned and operated with over 10 years of industry experience. The written reviews run from 2017 to 2023, and they are mostly about exterior work on tall, older houses. In a May 2018 review, a customer described a "VERY TALL civil war era colonial mansard" painted at a price they called very reasonable, with the crew answering questions, doing little extras when asked and cleaning up at the end. A 2019 review described a project 24 feet above the ground in hot, muggy weather, with the crew coming every day and cleaning up everything. The biggest single account is from May 2020: a homeowner hired O.E. to paint and stain a colonial, a job that also included carpentry — replacing rotted trim and repairing and replacing window sills — and wrote that it came in on time and on budget. A September 2020 review said the work was completed on the exact day promised. Two 2017 reviews mentioned reasonable prices, one adding that the crew did small extras without charging. The Rhode Island contractor registry lists home improvement registration GC-34630, held by O.E. Painting, as expired; the registry marks it invalid.
