Oakwoods Landscaping is a family-owned Millis, Massachusetts landscape-construction company founded by Brian Dmytryck in 2002 and operated by Brian and Sara Dmytryck. Its website describes work across eastern Massachusetts, including landscape design and construction, patios, pools, decks, outdoor kitchens, masonry, lighting, planting, water features, and carpentry. The customer record is small and negative. A December 2024 Google review complains that the company’s drivers repeatedly cut the reviewer off in traffic. In a May 2023 review, a customer described a fiberglass-pool installation with poor communication and slow responses to concerns, the need to find a granite supplier independently, messy tile and granite work, and a final pool that appeared properly installed and looked beautiful. BBB lists an A+ grade, no complaints on file, and 28 years in business, while Houzz shows three projects and a broad outdoor-construction service menu. Those directory indicators do not resolve the specific communication and workmanship concerns in the written reviews. Oakwoods may fit a landscape, pool, patio, fence, or outdoor-living project in eastern Massachusetts, but confirm the project manager, response process, subcontractors, cleanup expectations, schedule, and references before booking.
They're drivers are awful I've been cut off by them multiple times driving through bellingham
Used Oakwoods to install my River fiberglass pool as they are the only installers in my area - the worse part of the project was the extremely poor communication and poor response to my concerns. I had to find my own granite supplier as well or project would have taken an additional 6 weeks. In terms of the quality of the install - the pool appears to be installed properly with higher end equipment. Tilers and granite installers were very messy and threw everything into the pool water unnecessarily - extending the time it took to thoroughly clean the pool. But the final end product was beautiful. Sara managed the project, was poor to respond and had her own ideas of how things should look and does not listen well to the customer - thankfully I stuck with my design ideas - I think she was even impressed with end product. If you want a River fiberglass pool in MA - you have no options but to choose Oakwoods - I waited nearly a year to write this review - as I was so angry at the time with their poor customer service and I wanted to be clear headed when I wrote this review - but feel future customers should be aware - In the end - the quality of the install is far my important then the poor customer service and I feel that Oakwoods did do a quality install of both the pool and the associated equipment. The hardscape around the pool was done by a different hardscape installer.
