Odd Job Home Repair shows 5 stars from 35 Google ratings, and a 2025 customer named Ray Neddo as its owner. A recent customer says Raymond does all his own work and just replaced a patio door with a Harvey patio door, along with repairing and replacing the trim and vinyl siding around the front door. That customer also calls him a resource when another tradesman is better equipped for a job. A 2026 customer said Ray found old rot and termite damage when he took off the front door, explained the damage in terms they could understand, and repaired or mitigated it before installing the door. A 2024 customer said Ray rebuilt custom bulkhead doors on a 1760 house and reused some materials from the old doors to keep the cost down. A 2023 customer said Ray stopped by the hardware store beforehand "just in case" before installing a secondhand storm door that turned out to be missing screws. A 2022 customer said Ray turned old bi-fold doors into a new pocket door and re-did a kitchen pantry. A 2024 customer hired the company to replace a deck and fix some rot on the house, then called back a short while later for another project. A 2023 customer said Ray installed lattice skirting for the crawl space under the house and deck, explained the pros and cons of a few options, and added an extra outdoor power outlet. That 2023 customer said scheduling with Michelle was painless. A 2023 customer outside Connecticut said Ray replaced a laundry room floor after a water leak for the customer's parents, finished in one day, and kept in contact about scheduling, scope of work and costs. A 2025 customer said Ray installed a hose reel and later repaired drywall in a laundry room and family room, along with a dryer vent.
Raymond does all his own work and just completed Home repairs for me which involved replacing the patio door with a high-quality Harvey patio door as well as repairing and replacing the trim and vinyl siding around the front door. Ray works nonstop with a high degree of skill and professionalism. He is courteous knowledgeable and efficient in handling problems that may arise which may not always be predictable. He is also a great resource if he believes that another professional tradesman is better equipped to handle a particular job. I would not hesitate to hire Raymond again in the future.
Ray, did an excellent job replacing the exterior doors on our house. When he took off the front door he found old rot and termite damage that the previous owner had hidden from us when selling the house. Ray did an excellent job examining the extent of the damage and then explaining the extensive issues he found in a way that we could easily understand. He was able to repair/mitigate the damage and install the door (see images) all for a very reasonable final cost. Our other two exterior doors while still a challenge (what with this house isn't) were also done quickly and efficiently. Ray does excellent work and is very reasonably priced. We will most certainly be using him in the future for any projects that are beyond our DIY ability.
Ray Neddo, owner of Odd Job Home Repair came highly recommended from a close friend. I hired Ray this summer to install a hose reel that extends around my property to water plants. Most recently, he repaired drywall in my laundry room and family room as well as repairs to a dryer vent. Ray is courteous, honest, and he does the job right. He will be remodeling my master bathroom in 2026. If you have projects around the house that you keep looking at and haven't gotten around to tackling, don't hesitate; call Ray!
Very knowledgeable, great work, everything turned out better than I expected.
An all around great experience. 3 repairs, all done quickly and professionally. Hard to find someone with the skills to do this work. We found him at Odd Job Home Repairs. We will using this service again and will be recommending him to our family and friends.
