On its Houzz profile, the company says owner Casey Sullivan oversees each project from beginning to end. It holds an A+ grade from the BBB and a 5.0 rating from 5 Houzz ratings. A 2015 customer said Casey planned and installed a hand-cut free-form bluestone patio anchored by a large gazebo and surrounded with plantings, and that the project was completed on budget. A 2015 reviewer wrote that Casey reorganized the shrubs and perennials in front of and on one side of the house, extended two planting areas and added compost to the soil; that 2015 reviewer said the garden filled in quickly enough that some crowding shrubs had to be moved a year later. A 2016 customer said heavy shrubbery was removed from the front of the home and the bushes and perennials they wanted to keep were transplanted elsewhere on the property. That 2016 customer said hardscaping in the plan was handled by New England Landscapes, Inc., which the company brought in. We hired Organic Innovations to make the front of our home more inviting and colorful which isn't an easy order in our climate and shade levels. We are extremely happy with the results. The house feels like it can breathe again! Heavy, bland shrubbery was removed, and the bushes and perennials that we wanted to keep were transplanted elsewhere on the property or used in a new way. Organic Innovations has their own creative ideas however they really want to make sure that in the end the client is happy with the results so the process can be very collaborative. The result is something that feels very much like "us" but we know that we wouldn't have been able to come up with it on our own! We are very much looking forward to using Organic Innovations for other parts of our property. Casey and her crew are professional yet friendly and pleasant to have around which is a nice bonus when you are having people in your space. Additionally, we had hardscaping as a part of the plan and they brought in New England Landscapes, Inc. They were outstanding as well.
Casey reorganized my gardens (shrubs & perennials) in front & on one side of our house, slightly extended 2 planting areas for nicer balance, suggested a few plants for additions, deleted a few as I requested or moved them to other parts of our yard, made good suggestions. She added good compost to the soil. The garden filled in quickly (in fact a bit too much so--a year later we had to move out some shrubs that were crowding!). I've received many compliments on the appearance of the garden. In 2015, she also helped me choose new shrubs to replace winter-damaged ones; she gave this a lot of thought & made excellent suggestions, coming to the nursery with me, along with her assistant. In addition to replanting, her assistant did some pruning & neatening as we were getting our house ready to sell.
Casey and her team transformed my back yard from a neglected, ugly place to one that is the envy of the neighborhood. She planned and installed a beautiful hand-cut free-form bluestone patio anchored by a large gazebo and surrounded with diverse and unusual plantings. Her communication skills are exceptional. She always kept me informed of her team's schedule and worked extremely well with the men who were delivering the gazebo. The project was completed in record time and on budget. I wish I could include photos but I don't have a cell phone! I know Casey has photos; perhaps she could add them here. I've done various remodeling projects on my 50-year-old house, and my experience with Casey and her team was the best ever.
Organic Innovations was referred to us by our property manager when we were looking for a new Gardner. We found the owner, Casey Sullivan, to be refreshingly honest, down to earth, knowledgeable and very creative in providing suggestions on ways to accent the beauty of our home. We hired her for several projects, including maintenance. Since we use it as a rental property, it is extremely important to maintain an outside appearance that compliments the exterior of the house. Perception is reality and when renters feel "at home", there is an instinctive desire to return. The number of repeat renters for our property has continued to increase in each of the past 3-years. While there are many factors contributing to this trend, we know that Organic Innovations care & maintenance of our home has been an important element to this success. We pay a little more for Casey's services and she is worth every penny. Her team is awesome and highly responsive to our needs/requests.
