Sixteen years after Michael DeLuca laid a paver patio and retaining wall for one customer, the stonework had held up — in a January 2022 review, that homeowner wrote it was a feature when they sold the house. Another customer, writing in May 2022, said the pavers on the front walkway and back patio he designed still looked newly laid a year on. Outdoor Lifestyles builds hardscaped outdoor living spaces around the Merrimack Valley: fieldstone and brick, granite steps, walkways, patios and retaining walls. The site says the company was established in 2020 and is owned by Mike DeLuca, and lists towns from Atkinson, Derry, Londonderry, Salem and Windham across into Amesbury, Newburyport and West Newbury. The newest account is also the largest. In July 2026, Mike and Dave rebuilt a Windham, New Hampshire backyard — a fieldstone wall, a large brick paver patio, a brick walkway, and stone steps up to the porch and to an upper garden. A July 2024 review describes a granite and paver staircase climbing to a tennis court, plus a walkway and drainage run in stone pavers and cobblestones, edged by a stone retaining wall. The small things show up too. In a June 2025 review, the pair replanted flowers before setting granite stairs and swapped out a stair tread they noticed was stained. A May 2022 customer said the posts and stonework looked original to the property. On Houzz in January 2022, a homeowner who had hired hardscapers before called this the best of those experiences, and the price a good one. Design is half the job here: January 2022 reviewers describe handing Mike the parameters for how they wanted to use a space and getting back a laid-out plan with distinct sections. Houzz lists him as an ICPI Certified Installer, with 13 projects on the profile. One thing to square up: the site dates the business to 2020, while that 16-year-old patio was built well before then, so ask who built the job you are being shown and when. For a patio, a walkway, granite steps or a retaining wall in southern New Hampshire or the northern Massachusetts towns on the list, this is a specialist worth a call — ask to see a job from a few years back, since how the stonework ages is the interesting part, and settle the build window for your season.
Mike and Dave at Outdoor Lifestyles transformed our Windham, NH backyard. They built us a fieldstone wall, huge brick paver patio, brick walkway, stone steps to porch and to upper garden - all with precision and artistry. Every part of this project was well thought out and professionally finished. Proud to have this in our backyard.
Mike and Dave took the time to replant some flowers before expertly installing our granite stairs. They also replaced one of the stair treads when they noticed it was stained. We were extremely happy with their work and highly recommend them!
Outdoor Lifestyles installed beautiful hardscaping at our house, including installation of a lovely granite and paver staircase up to our tennis court and a walkway and drainage system made of stone pavers and cobblestones and bordered by a stone retaining wall and mulch and river rock beds leading to the pool. The work is impeccable and adds greatly to the beauty and functionality of our house and grounds. Thank you, Mike!
Our dreams were brought into reality by Outdoor Lifestyles. Mike took our ideas of what we wanted and crafted them into an amazing entryway to our home. The quality and skill of their work is top notch. We know we will enjoy our beautiful walkway and entry to our home for many years to come.
I highly recommend Michael and Outdoor Lifestyles. He is a professional and a true pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, delivered more than what was promised. The posts and stonework look like they were original to the property. You cannot even tell that he was here. He took care of providing a licensed electrician to wire our new lamp post, no chasing around another contractor, one stop shop. Call him today, you'll be happy you did.
