Irrigation is the part of this Essex outfit that has a name attached to it. Pallazola Brothers' own Porch blurb names Todd Dunlop as its irrigation and lighting manager with more than 20 years installing and maintaining systems — an unusual level of detail for a landscaper, and a fair hint at where the depth sits. The company works from 60 John Wise Ave and describes itself as family run and fully insured, serving Cape Ann and the Beverly, Wenham and Hamilton side of the North Shore. The written history is one review, and it is old. In October 2016 a Houzz customer described front landscaping and hardscaping installed to their approval, credited the design as thoughtful, and noted the owners themselves came out to check the work. Nothing has been written since, on Houzz or anywhere else, so there is no current account of how jobs go. Houzz lists "Pesticides, Hoisting License" for the company under its awards, but that is Houzz's entry and we have not confirmed either against a state registry — worth asking to see the actual pesticide applicator licence if spraying is part of your job. The two profiles also date the business differently: Houzz says over 23 years, Porch says 21. This is the right call if you want irrigation and lighting handled by the same crew doing the planting and the walkway. Given how little customers have written, ask for two or three recent local addresses you can drive past before signing anything.
