Every Google review Paragon Landscape Construction has drawn is about the way its trucks drive. Three of them, posted between August 2025 and February 2026, name plates and places — a red service body on Route 3, a red Chevrolet pickup near the Braintree–Weymouth split — and describe speeding, swerving and cutting people off. They are motorists, not customers, and they carry the company's Google standing to 2.8 stars across nine ratings. What the company shows of the work is a different picture. From 62 Industrial Way in Hanover, it says it has been building landscapes since 1992: residential and commercial landscape construction, stonework, water features, and the garden and property maintenance that follows, across New England. Its Houzz profile fills in masonry, pools, plantings, lawns and sitework, with 12 project photo sets attached. The outside trail is editorial rather than customer-written. New England Home credited Paragon with the landscape construction on a published home-campus project designed by LDa Architecture & Interiors, and a 2020 article in the same magazine quoted the company's Stephanie Reid on stretching outdoor living across the seasons. A 2009 local news item reported the company jointly donated seven trees for a YMCA pool landscaping project. A former employee, writing in 2024, credited a year and a half there with his skill development. Two things are worth pinning down before you call. The tenure numbers don't line up: the company's own site dates it to 1992, while its BBB profile lists 30 years in business, incorporation in 2007 and five employees — and that profile is unaccredited and unrated for want of information. The company also states it is certified as a Minority and Women Business Enterprise through the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office and belongs to the National Association of Landscape Professionals; both are its own statements, so ask for the certificate if that matters to your project. For a designed, built landscape — stone, water, plantings, and the upkeep afterward — Paragon has published project credits behind the pitch. Ask for recent references and photos of finished jobs near you, and given who has been writing about them lately, it is fair to ask how they handle their crews on the road.
