Parker K Bailey & Sons holds 4.6 stars from 17 Google ratings. The company describes itself as handling full-service and self-service moves, temporary mobile storage, long-term self storage, and packing and shipping materials. A 2022 customer who had been through two bad moves with online moving brokers wrote that they hired the company for a local move in August of 2022, after the sellers of their new home praised its work finishing their own cross-country move. That 2022 customer said the rates were very reasonable, the crew was on time, and they were very careful and precise. A 2022 reviewer wrote that they were moved in about 2 hours. A 2024 customer said the move went smoothly because of their non-stop work, and called them kind, friendly and patient. A 2024 customer said the company only delivered a loaded moving trailer, and that Mark was very accommodating and easy to do business with. A 2023 customer liked that the company comes out to look at what you want moved, but said that on the phone they were quoted over 10,000 without anyone looking, and that other estimates came in at half the price, so they went elsewhere.
Only delivered a loaded moving trailer. Mark was very accommodating and easy to do business with.
I wish I could give more than five stars. They were very kind and friendly and had such patience with me. The move went smoothly because of their non-stop work. Highly recommend.
I called to get an estimate, I did like they they actually come put and look at what you want moved . I did not like they on the phone they tell you it's the highest time to move and it would cost over 10,000 without actually looking . I got other estimates and it was half the price so I did not go with them.
My wife and I had two back to back nightmare moving experiences with online "moving brokers", and nearly didn't get our household goods delivered when we moved to Maine last December (2021). We unexpectedly bought a different home shortly after we arrived (July 2022), and the sellers had just had their own nightmare experience with an online broker and they lost half of their up front deposit (about 5K). They then hired Parker K Bailey & Sons to finish their cross country move. They mentioned how great a job PKB&S did and so we asked PKB&S to perform our new local move in August of 2022. We could not have been happier. The rates were very reasonable, the crew was on time, and they WORKED - no messing around. It was like a whirlwind; I was getting tired just watching them! But they were very careful and precise. My wife and I have never been so impressed by a move, and I have been moving for over 35 years between the military and Civil Service. If at all possible, PKB&S will get ALL of our future moving business.
I used them July 29th 2022. They were so awesome...... they moved me in about 2 hours. Can't say enough. Highly recommend
