Paul Esposito Construction says it brings over 20 years of experience as a residential carpenter and general contractor in the Greater Boston area, and that it is fully licensed as an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor and holds a degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. A contractor directory lists licence number CS-096089. A 2026 review from a customer in Wellesley says Paul has helped with their home for years, built their deck, and has been knowledgeable, thoughtful and responsive while helping the family think through what work should be prioritized. In a separate 2026 review, a customer who hired Paul Esposito to rebuild a small back porch and stairs writes that the final project came out nice and as expected, and that additional costs came up as the project progressed, which they agreed needed to be done. Paint spills and glue got onto the new stairs and porch floor, and Paul returned during warmer weather to correct this. When the customer later found paint and glue still on the stairs and deck, Paul said the punch list time had expired, and the customer writes that they will not recommend him.

Paul has helped me with my home in Wellesley for years and my experience with him has been extremely positive. He built my deck, which I love, and more recently has been incredibly helpful to my family as we’ve navigated some complicated issues with the house. Paul has been knowledgeable, thoughtful, responsive, and exceptionally generous with his time. We’ve especially appreciated the genuine care he has shown and his willingness to answer questions, explain options, and help us all think through what work should be prioritized. We’re very grateful for all his help.
We hired Paul Esposito to rebuild our small back porch and stairs. He specified the materials he would use and we selected the colors. There were additional costs incurred as the project progressed and we agreed they needed to be done and paid for all work. The final project came out nice and as expected. It was quite cold when the project was completed. There were some paint spills and glue that got onto the new stairs and porch floor. We brought this to Paul’s attention and he did return during warmer weather to correct this. Several months have passed and this summer we finally completed a major patio and lawn project. Spending more time out back now, I noticed that there was still paint and glue on the stairs and deck. After contacting Paul about this again he said that the punch list time had expired and that after his first cleanup attempt my wife had indicated it was acceptable. I was surprised by Paul’s unwillingness to correct this and his lack of professionalism in his response. We are happy with most of the work done but this lack of responsibility is hard to understand and will not recommend nor suggest that you hire him.
