Performance Overhead Door Co

Performance Overhead Door Co is a North Franklin garage door company whose jobs run from a quick fix to full door replacements. A recent customer said they came the same day, adjusted the door tracks, installed a new handle and replaced the code. A recent customer had a new spring installed, and the technician checked the other garage doors for issues. A recent customer wrote that the owner, George, came out the afternoon of the call, gave an estimate for the repairs, and came back the next day to complete the job. George and Mike removed a recent customer's old doors and installed three new Clopay doors on a hot day. George installed a 14-foot and a 10-foot overhead door on a recent customer's new barn. The company came out on a Sunday when a recent customer's mother's garage door broke, and left everything neat and tidy. The company says it has a showroom with over 15 doors on display and serves New London, Windham, Middlesex, Hartford and Tolland counties in Connecticut. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0647476, is active on the state registry. In a 2023 review, a customer said George came within a few hours, realigned the hinges and lubricated the springs and hinges, and did it at 8pm. A 2025 customer said the installer removed very old doors and installed new doors with openers. A 2024 customer said the owner quoted $1,100 installed with the handle opener, and the final charge was over $1,300 without the handle. A 2025 customer booked an appointment two weeks out, called on the day to confirm, was not on the schedule, and was asked to move it two more weeks. A 2025 customer said one door broke after the company worked on it and that the company refused to fix it.
