A 2024 customer said Steve explained the process, the services Pine Tree offers and the prices for each, and helped the family meet a tight timeline to settle an estate and sell the house. In a 2025 review, a customer described meeting with Steve twice before hiring the company to clean out their home and sort what to sell, donate or discard. A 2023 customer said the business had done biweekly housekeeping for them for over a year, and that the house was spotless after every cleaning with a dog, a cat and three kids at home. A 2024 Reddit commenter in r/Maine called them "Excellent people." A recent reviewer who had gone to many of its estate sales says the staff were rude and hostile and would not honor the prices they had written on items, quoting more instead. A recent reviewer calls the company a scam, saying the price changed at the time of purchase and that staff took the items out and said "we can't sell it to you."

This company is a scam. Changed price at time of purchase. DO NOT USE THEM Edit: Your guys didn't fix the problem. They took the items out and said "we can't sell it to you". The contents were in the box with a dollar amount on it. So as an owner it's okay for your staff to remove the items they feel fit? If that is the case Thank You for confirming my statement of your business practice.
I have gone to many of thier estate sales before and recommended them to many of my friends, but after today I hope to never interact with this company again. The staff were very rude and hostile they would take what they wanted for themselves from customers who went to check out. What they would let you buy, they wouldn't honor the price that they themselves wrote on the items and instead quoted more. I'm at a loss for words from thier lack of professionalism and am now wondering how truthful they really are to clients whose possessions they are selling
