Pineland Home Inspections, based in Brentwood, NH, is the name buyers' agents keep bringing back for their own clients. Two inspectors carry nearly every review — Kevin and Derek — and the same pattern holds across dozens of them: an early arrival, a walkthrough that runs a couple of hours, and a report in hand before the buyer's day is over. On Google, that adds up to a 5-star average across 412 ratings. The specifics behind it are more telling than the number itself. A homeowner who wasn't buying or selling, just getting a 100-plus-year-old house evaluated for a maintenance plan, said Kevin was "extremely informative and thorough," covering the house from roof to crawlspace. A realtor in Amesbury had Kevin schedule an inspection within 24 hours of a buyer going under agreement and still got a full walk-through explanation and a detailed report on the spot. Add-ons get folded into the same visit rather than requiring separate calls: one customer had a general inspection and a septic check done between a Thursday call and a Tuesday finish, and another paired the home inspection with a sewer scope and a water test. The recurring theme isn't just speed — it's the explaining. A repeat buyer who compared this to a prior inspection that was "30 minutes in and out" said they were shocked at how much time Derek spent walking through the house and teaching them what to maintain. A first-time buyer said the walkthrough made the process feel "stress-free" because the inspector explained not just what he found but why it mattered. A mobile/manufactured-home buyer got the same full slate of add-on inspections fit inside a tight contingency window. Nothing in the recent reviews pulls against that pattern — the five-star run continues for months without a dissenting account. Since almost every job traces back to one of two named inspectors, it's worth asking upfront which of them, Kevin or Derek, is assigned to your appointment. Pineland fits buyers who want the reasoning behind the findings as much as the findings themselves, sellers working a short timeline, or an owner planning repairs on an older home — and it's worth asking what septic, sewer-scope, or water testing costs when bundled with the main inspection, since several reviewers used them together.

Start to finish, working with Pineland Home Inspections was great. Dayna was helpful when we called to inquire and scheduling was easy. They had several good service options available and it was simple to add a service. Day of the inspection, Kevin was incredibly thorough and spent time explaining what he was doing and why, and walked through the findings he would put in the final report. The follow-up was equally good and every interaction was friendly. We appreciated several nice touches, like putting down a welcome mat, wearing slippers to protect newly finished floors, and a tool box full of snacks and kid activities. Pricing was mid-range of the three companies we called and they were worth every penny - highly recommended Pineland Home Inspections!

Pineland Home Inspections did a fantastic job for us. Derek our inspector took time to help me with questions and completed the inspection report quickly, with solid recommendations. Their drone took great shots of the roof and chimneys. Overall, the process was smooth, modern and effective.

This was by far the best inspectiom process I've experienced. Incredible knowledge, service and communication. The inspection report and available resources for handling issues was detailed and thorough. They break down everything regarding inspection details in a way that makes sense to the everyday person. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

What a great experience it was working with Kevin on our home inspection. We weren't selling or buying, just getting a 100+ year-old house evaluated for any issues so a maintenance/repair plan could be figured out and prioritized. Kevin was extremely informative and thorough, not to mention very personable, answering all of our questions along the way. He covered the house structurally - roof to crawlspace, electrical to plumbing. We got everything we needed with a very complete report at the end. I highly recommend Pineland Home inspection whether you're buying, selling or just evaluating a home.
