Power JetVac

Two truck-mounted units, 500-gallon water tanks and reach the company says runs 75 to 100 feet up: Power JetVac is set up for the exterior jobs a garden hose was never going to fix. The Springfield company soft-washes houses, strips moss and algae off roofs, and cleans decks, patios, walkways and siding around Springfield, Chicopee and Holyoke and over the Connecticut line into Enfield, Windsor and Hartford. Santiago Figueroa founded it, by the company's own account, and the site claims 12 years of exterior cleaning alongside commercial power washing, fleet washing, and interior and exterior painting. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #214290, is active on the state registry under Figueroa, and its minority business enterprise certification with the state Supplier Diversity Office runs to October 2027. Google puts it at 4.9 stars from 102 ratings and Thumbtack at 4.9 from 153, with 4.8 on both Angi and HomeAdvisor — and the jobs customers describe are the stubborn ones. A March 2025 reviewer had quite a bit of moss and algae built up on the roof and said the crew explained everything from start to finish. A May 2026 customer had the house soft-washed and the fence, walkway and roof moss handled in the same visit, and worked with Naisha through the process. In a July 2024 review, a homeowner said the discoloration and moss came off their vinyl siding. Price keeps coming up, and in the same direction. A March 2025 customer said another power washer wanted twice what Power JetVac asked. A July 2024 customer shopped around and called this the best price for the same specifications, with the job booked within days of first contact. An April 2026 reviewer shopped around too and went with them on price. Timekeeping draws the same kind of note. A March 2026 customer said he called, they came out quickly, and the job was finished at the time he had been given; a July 2026 Thumbtack customer called them punctual and responsive and noticed they had coiled the hose up neatly. One April 2026 reviewer has had the house, garage and deck washed three times over several years. Commercial buildings are part of the work too: in a 2022 review, a property with no water connection on site said the crew supplied water at a reasonable cost and the building looked like night and day afterwards. For a Springfield-area home with a mossy roof, algae on the siding or a moldy patio, this is a straightforward call — list every surface you want done in the quote, and ask about insurance before the trucks arrive.
