As a new homeowner, I appreciated how knowledgeable and professional Pungitore’s on-site team was. They walked me through the process clearly, and their office staff was responsive and informative leading up to the service. However, I was surprised to receive a final bill that was 40% higher than the original quote after the slice seeding and top dressing were completed. The increase was attributed to an additional 4 cubic yards of material beyond what was quoted, and a small hole (4 ft by 6 in, or 0.075 cu. yd) that we asked to have filled on the day of service. I was told the original quote underestimated the job, but that discrepancy wasn’t communicated until after the work was done. This kind of pricing shift makes it difficult to plan a budget—especially in the early months of homeownership when expenses are already high. Had we known the actual cost upfront, we would have considered alternative service options. The final result looks great, but the quoting process felt unpredictable and left us with unexpected costs. Clearer communication and more accurate quoting would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.

How fast can I give this company 5 shiny stars, quick!! This gem of a company was recommended to me last week. After tree removal, boulder moving, tree planting, stump grinding and grass seeding finished up yesterday, our irrigation needed serious help. Pungitore to the rescue! Showing up today (you read that correctly), my irrigation hero Flavio immediately got to work to triage the situation. He capped broken lines to discern what other particular zones could do, and got a full picture of what work remained. “When can he return?” you ask, so as to not leave my new grass seed hanging by a thread? The typical two weeks from now that has become commonplace? Nay. Flavio will return Monday. Today is Friday. Our yard situation required prompt action. Pungitore recognized this fact, sent an incredibly knowledgeable, kind, considerate, experienced technician, and is going to have our irrigation up and running in no time. The yard gods are smiling down on me. Maybe I saved a bunch of cute rabbits in a past life, who knows? The point is… my luck in finding honest, fair, friendly, efficient irrigation expertise is apparently mighty. Thank you Flavio! Thank you Pungitore!
