A site that republishes federal labor-department enforcement records reports a 2001 OSHA inspection of the company that ended in one citation and $2,500 in proposed penalties — a quarter-century back, and the only enforcement item attached to the name. CourtListener separately indexes a civil complaint filed against Quality Air Metals, Inc. in federal court; the listing gives the filing and nothing about how it ended, so read it as a docket entry, not a verdict. What is missing is anyone describing the actual mechanical work. The Google star average, 4.7 across 6 ratings, rests on the same handful of drivers, and the written comments stop in 2021. For a general contractor pricing a commercial mechanical package on the South Shore, this is a licensed shop with a long run and real project volume behind it — ask for references on jobs sized like yours. For a homeowner whose air conditioning quit, everything the company publishes about itself points at commercial construction, so this is likely the wrong number to call.
