Quality Landscape works out of 42 Hutchinson Street in Revere and, by its own account on Angi, has been at it since 1992. The name that comes up again and again in its reviews is Louie, the owner, usually alongside a crew member called Mike. The written record is deep but dated: 23 reviews on Angi running from July 2013 to May 2020, behind a 4.8 average across 30 ratings, 93% of them five stars. What homeowners describe most is yard transformation. A May 2019 reviewer wrote that she and her fiancé "still can not get over the transformation of both our front and back yard," with both yards finished within a week of the quote. In August 2017 another described the crew cleaning up shrubs and trees, edging, planting and setting rock, leaving a home that "looks like it came out of Better Homes and Gardens." In October 2016 a homeowner with a barren plot at a new house said Mike fixed a dead lawn and winterized it. The other recurring theme is process. Reviews from 2014 through 2020 describe estimates given quickly, arrival when promised and cleanup afterwards. A September 2016 reviewer singled out better communication than several other contractors they had worked with, and noted Louie and his son walking them through the trouble spots. A May 2016 reviewer described the owner's manner plainly: "Lou is a little gruff at first but he is all business and gets the job done." The one substantive criticism came in May 2019, from a homeowner pleased with a large rock-garden install who nonetheless found the crew "limited in knowledge of horticulture" — worth knowing if a project turns on plant selection rather than installation. The practical caveat is age: this record runs 2013 to 2020, so it describes the company as it worked six or more years ago. Ask who runs the crews now, and for two or three jobs finished in the last year you can go and look at.
