One thing worth asking about directly: the Better Business Bureau lists her as not accredited and says it doesn't have enough information to rate her at all. That's a separate system from Houzz's own badges, so it doesn't necessarily point to a problem on its own, but it means there's no independent BBB read to lean on. Her stated service area is Hingham and Norwell, so confirm she covers your town before reaching out. For a homeowner planning design work that runs from space planning through picking contractors and managing the project — rather than a single task — Rubin is a one-person operation whose reviews and recognition line up consistently, even if there simply aren't many of them yet.
