A five-star review from this past February describes walking in unsure about a bathroom project and leaving with a clear shortlist, crediting staff for comparing options rather than pushing a sale — a pattern that surfaces elsewhere too, with more than one older, undated mention singling out staff by name as patient and low-pressure. Even so, the track record is thin: six reviews total spread across five sources since 2021, and its Houzz profile — which actually covers the Norwood branch, not Weymouth — shows none at all. Worth asking about before visiting: this is a materials and design stop, not the outfit doing the plumbing or tile work — the company is explicit that it partners with the customer's own contractor for installation, so you'll still need to line up your own crew. It does carry an authorized MasterBrand Cabinetry dealership, useful if cabinets are part of the same project. It's a sensible stop for seeing and touching fixtures across a range of budgets before work starts, less so if you're hoping to hire the installer in the same visit — ask the sales consultant who they'd send you to for that.

I was nervous at first, but the staff at Republics Collection made me feel comfortable right away. The bathroom showroom had an amazing variety of fixtures and accessories, and the selection was clearly organized so I could find exactly what I needed. Prices were very reasonable, and the friendly employees helped me compare options and gave useful advice on bathroom design. I left feeling confident about my choices and will definitely shop here again.

Bobby Sheehan is my go to guy at Republic Plumbing in Weymouth! Incredibly knowledgeable at all things plumbing related and recently helped me pick out perfect high end fixtures and finishes for a personal master bath of mine. Very polite and professional with no pressure and really helps you get exactly what you need.

This is a review of the Republic store in Weymouth. We have an upcoming major bathroom reno, so we were in the store looking for a new bath vanity. We had Melanie, the sales rep. Unfortunately, her professionalism was severely lacking. 30 minutes after meeting with her, she provided a piece of colored wood sample (so I could see what the color looks like when placed next to a vanity in the store) and a written quote from her. Later on, my husband and I were deep in a conversation with her regarding produce service when I noticed another vanity a few feet in front of us. I separated myself from the conversation and headed towards the vanity piece in the store; bringing the colored wood sample with me. Suddenly, I heard her yelling at me, at the top of her voice, her standing next to my husband and in front of other customers. She accused me for taking the colored wood sample out of the store, and insisted that if I were to take it home with me I would be charged $6. The accusation was shocking to a legit customer. Had I been someone else, there would be a scene at the store but we chose to be polite. Needless to say, I agreed 100% with the negative online reviews from others of this store.
