Kissell as owner, and flags the profile with an alert and a score of zero because it has no active licence on file. Those licence records deserve a careful look. BuildZoom shows Massachusetts Master Electrician licence 9882 carrying a July 2016 expiration the last time it checked, and shows that same number as an inactive Electrician licence the state E-Licensing Board records as at one point cancelled; a Newton electrical contractor registration, 000025478, is listed inactive as well. BuildZoom's own summary says both were inactive when it last checked. That is what the directory publishes rather than a state-registry confirmation, and it is the first thing to settle with him directly. The permits are unusually mixed for an electrician. Electrical work in West Newbury in 2022 and twice at 263 Nahant Rd in Nahant, in June 2015 and June 2017, sits alongside gas and plumbing permits on the Cape and in Plymouth running from 1999 through a pool heater in Falmouth in July 2023. No customer has written about the work, so there is no rating here. If you call, ask for his current licence numbers and check them with the state yourself before anything is agreed.
