After texting pics and leaving a detailed voicemail, I had a very interesting quoting process with Dave. First he confused me with someone else and insisted I hired another contractor (which I didn't). After clearing that up, he quoted me $900 an hour for a rather basic project. Yes, $900.00 an hour, with a crying face emoji.
Dave consulted with us when we first moved into our home and was great then, but we couldn’t afford to tackle the project until a year later. Communication was excellent and Dave was lovely to have in our home. He replaced a ceiling for us in what will be our nursery and worked with us on a plan that suited our 1885 house and all the quirks that come with a structure that old. He even tackled some patching on the walls for us. I couldn’t recommend Rock-It drywall more highly and look forward to working with them again in the future!
Rock-it Drywall, David's work is excellent. He was recommended to us through another contractor last Spring and what a difference he made in our home. He was timely with his communication from the very beginning, followed up with my questions before the work began and even rescheduled with me when I had a last minute change. When he arrived and completed the work, it was super fast, precise and our ceilings look incredible, AMAZING. We have a 100+ year old bungalow with plaster ceilings and crown moldings and they were falling in. Today you would never know that anything happened. They are GORGEOUS. If you are looking for a no nonsense, expert in their field contractor, I highly recommend David and Rock-it Drywall.
2 weeks before our daughters engagement party we had a leak that destroyed a large portion our kitchen ceiling. David came in, gave us a quote and moved things around so he could have it done in time for the party! To my surprise and delight, he left the house Sheetrock dust free, saving me hours of cleaning! You can not see that we ever had a problem it blended perfectly with the rest of the 23 year old ceiling. We couldn’t be happier with his craftsmanship.
