A September 2026 Google review describes a new patio from Rubin Landscape with a stormwater fix built into it. Satchel Rubin and his team worked through poor weather to start, and the customer's 60 gallon rain barrels were fitted with an overflow system that sends excess storm water under the new patio to a rain garden on the other side of the backyard fence. Several small to medium change orders were handled to the updated specifications, and that customer called the pricing very reasonable and competitive.
Other recent jobs run from cleanup to hardscape. An August 2026 review says they cleared overgrown areas, including some very tough rose bushes, cleared and recoated a driveway and planted grass in a neglected yard, following through on a lot of detailed instructions and finishing very quickly. A July 2026 review says the team at Rubin redid a backyard patio from start to finish. A May 2026 customer who hired Satchel and his crew called the pricing fair and within budget, and said he gave a couple of quotes on different designs.
The yard work goes back further. In a 2025 review, a customer said Satchel made a rock garden with some native plants, did a general yard clean up and built up the entrance around the gate with stone and edge pavers. Another 2025 review describes overgrown ground cover removed and sod installed, with care taken not to disrupt a walkway, a stonewall and the driveway.
Winter work is part of it too. In a 2025 review, a customer said Satchel plowed a brick driveway whose uneven surface makes it more difficult.

Satchel Rubin and his team did an excellent job transforming our patio area. Despite poor weather to start, they worked through it all and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
Along with a new patio, we had a fairly complex stormwater drainage requirement, and they nailed it. Our 60 gallon rain barrels were fitted with an overflow system where excess storm water traveled under our new patio to a rain garden on the other side of our backyard fence.
We had several small to medium change order requests and they were all handled to our updated specifications.
Lastly, their pricing was very reasonable and competitive.
