A 2022 Angi customer said crumbling tiles were starting to block the exhaust from the burner, and Safe Way came the morning after the call and diagnosed and fixed the problem in the same visit. A 2022 customer said Raymond installed a liner for their furnace chimney with a custom size copper cap and parged the deteriorated smoke chamber of their fireplace. A 2023 customer said Jim capped, sprayed and put an insert into their chimney at a fair price. A 2024 customer said Jimmy did the repointing on their chimney. A recent Thumbtack customer said the company set up an inspection for a chimney cleaning, then never showed up, and they did not hear from them. A 2022 customer said they were charged $1500 for cement put on the brick chimney of an 1800 cape cod, that the office confirmed the tech sent, Jimmy, is not a mason, and that an inspector said the work must come down. Safeway tech, Wilson was very professional. Completed the cap installation in a timely manner and left the site clean. The cap looks great and in addition to the lifetime guarantee, he gave me a personal guarantee that the chimney cap will not be dislocated again. I highly recommend Safe Way Chimney.
Called quickly and set up an inspection for a chimney cleaning and then never showed up and I did not hear from them.
Would recomend this guys really went above and beyond and i appreciate that.
I have been waiting for three years to repair my chimney, due to two previous estimates, I was not impressed with. Those two company was about up charge and loans. My two fire place was not a priority so I just put it aside. After joining thumbtack I was able to finally get true honest estimate and was very impressed with this company, they are very honest, responsive and did a great job, I was able to use my fire place and it was blissful 😊 I will be using this company again to replace my fire place doors soon after I finish a couple projects. Thank you for being honest and responsive to my request.
Clean and Inspect an oil-fired chimney$2,500so,before i share all this,pay attention to the DATES i list on 7-25-22 my motherinlaw had these guys do some work to the tune of $2575.00,fast forward to 12-28-25, there is a charge on her credit card, the one she used to pay initially, for$89.00, then on 1-8-26 a charge for $91.00. we automatically assumed her card was hacked. so i called the company to try to get some information about who might have made this charge, to my surprise, they are the ones who put the 2 charges through, i was speaking with joe greene, who claims he is the manager, he proceeded to tell me that there was existing balance???? 3 years later?? he claims they've tried to call her, i asked did you ever send a bill? he says they try to do everything by phone or online, that's BS i ask him who his boss was, he said his name is dave ,did'nt want to give me his last name or phone#?? i gave him my name and # and asked to call me the next day, no one called IF YOU HAVE WORK DONE DON'T GIVE YOUR CARD!!!!!!!!!
