San Marino Landscape and Construction

San Marino Landscape and Construction is a Dedham-based landscaping company working residential and commercial properties across Greater Boston — design, maintenance, lawn care, masonry and snow plowing, by its own account, with a stated service area running from Allston and Brookline out through Foxboro and Bridgewater. Its written record is heavy on cleanup and maintenance work. A 2024 review described a spring cleanup at a thirty-unit condominium that cleared dead shrubs and trimmed branches throughout the property, and other reviewers from 2022 and 2023 said the crew transformed an overgrown yard while working around existing plants, or kept a lawn looking sharp over 'a number of years' of regular visits. One reviewer summed it up simply: 'They will get rid of every single leaf in your yard.' That said, the record isn't uniformly clean. An August 2023 review from a three-year customer said a routine mow left grass clippings blown into a backyard pool after the crew rushed through the job, and a December 2023 review called the company unprofessional and rude. Most recently, a June 2026 review complained about the crew's trucks parking illegally and causing traffic near a job site. The company's stated tenure is inconsistent across the sources reporting it — its own website says 15 years, the Better Business Bureau lists 27, and Angi's profile claims 28 while a different line on that same Angi page says 20. The Better Business Bureau also files the business under 'Home Builders' rather than landscaping, and rates it A+ without listing it as an accredited member. It also self-reports a Full Pesticide License, which is its own claim rather than anything checked against a state registry. For routine lawn care, cleanup and maintenance work, the written history from regular residential customers is largely positive — but given the more recent complaints about vehicle conduct and one report of a rushed job, it's worth confirming crew scheduling and site care expectations up front, especially for a property with sensitive features like a pool.
