Sand Castle Construction & Hardscapes

never finished my walkway and wouldn’t commit to when they would finish. Agreed to a 50% refund because I paid up front. Never saw the money, they burned me for 4500.00. Look at BBB if you want the true story about this guy.

Informational: As a previous review states; Sand Castle Construction & Hardscapes filed for bankruptcy in July of 2024. They have since closed up shop and rebranded as Shoreline Hardscapes & Construction, LLC.

I never write bad reviews, but had to for this one. I will make this concise and to the point. Pretty much a dirtbag Contractor. Took my hard earned money and did almost no work. Then declared bankruptcy and stopped all communication with me. The five star reviews on Google are definitely fraudulent. The reason I know they are fake is because he uses either stock photos or photos from other projects for them. As a matter of fact, one of the fake five star reviews are photos of my own property 😂. I took a screen shot and attached the side-by-side photos just so you could see. Anyways, please don’t trust this guy

We hired Ian to redo our front walkway and retaining wall after seeing pictures of his work. We are really blown away with how great it turned out and all of the extensive work put into the project. Ian was excellent at keeping me updated during the entire process. The whole crew was friendly and very hard-working. The job was not rushed and corners were not cut. There were some unavoidable delays in starting our job but once it started, the guys came each day for over a week until the job was done. Ian did a great job designing our walkway and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the results. We definitely recommend Ian and Sand Castle Construction and would hire them again.

Sandcastle built a granite retaining wall with stairs and patio for us. Turned out beautiful and ties the Victorian era home to the new garage very well. Ian was very straightforward and easy to work with. Communication was great throughout the project. His crew does great work. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again!
