SavATree's Norwalk office at 34 Smith St handles tree, shrub and lawn care for homes. Its website describes residential tree, shrub and lawn care, offers free estimates, says it has been in business 45 years, and lists a service area that includes Norwalk, Bridgeport, Darien, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Westport and Stratford. Google shows 4.8 stars from 220 ratings, and HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.6 stars from 55 ratings. Customers describe tree removals in detail. One customer says Chris Evans came within one day to give an estimate for removing a huge tree, emailed it the next day, and the tree was removed with no issues. Another credits Konrad with the removal of a very large, unstable tree in a backyard and says the crew left the property remarkably clean. A 2025 reviewer had a leaning tree between two garages and a neighbor's tall fence taken down, with both driveways cleared of debris. A December 2025 reviewer watched the crew maneuver a remote lift through a very small entrance to trim a tree that could not be climbed. Customers also hire SavATree to keep trees alive. One reviewer had several evergreen and deciduous trees heavily trimmed and three trees cabled, and calls the cost very reasonable against removing and replacing them. Another needed a special injection for an oak and writes that SavATree were the only ones who knew what was being asked. A 2024 reviewer credits Chris Evans with saving over 30 Norway Spruce trees and a magnolia with a bad case of scale over six years. Long-running programs come up too: one customer has had a lawn and tree program for nearly 18 years, another has had a yearly kelp treatment on a Silver Maple, and another writes that Luis has cared for a weeping cherry for years. On lawns, one reviewer went from a sad lawn to a thriving one in less than 6 months. Two customers write about poor responsiveness. In August 2026 one paid a deposit, waited over 1.5 months without being scheduled despite calls and emails, and has requested a refund. A March 2026 reviewer calls the tree care excellent but the lawn care ineffective, with unresponsive service.
