Seacoast Junk & Demo is a hauling and light demolition company run by Zachary Poland. By its own description it is locally owned, based in Edgecomb, and serves Midcoast Maine towns from Boothbay and Damariscotta to Bath, Brunswick and Waldoboro, offering free estimates and saying it is insured. It holds 5 stars from 18 Google ratings. An executor who hired Zak to clear a 5,600-square-foot artist studio and apartment said he and his crew cleared 6.5 dumpsters, and that when he came across old family photographs he set them aside for the executor to review; the executor later hired them to clear the dust too. A recent customer said Zach loaded a family outbuilding's 40-plus years of broken tools and junk in under an hour at a fair price. A recent customer said Zach called about items he was unsure whether to take, after they had tagged some to keep. A recent customer hired the company to remove a deck and said the job was done promptly. A recent customer said years of junk in a garage and barn on Westport Island were cleared the same day they called. A recent customer said Zack removed couches and a rug from a Boothbay cottage on two occasions at a fair price. A recent customer said owner Zachary Poland gave a fair estimate to remove a half trailer of junk, including a stove and a rusted garden fence.
was able to fit me in less than 48hrs after i called. incredibly kind and professional. thanks again for helping me get a fresh start!!!
Zach showed up right on time. Loaded all my junk…..I had cleaned out my folks out building that had been a drop off for 40 plus years. Broken tools, old tool boxes full of out dated tools… just an accumulation of stuff! Two days of piling stuff and it was gone in less than an hour. Great job at a fair price. I would and will use Seacoast again! My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased! David Taylor Dresden
Wonderful service, professional, incredibly kind and helpful. Can't recommend Zachary enough. He will help without hesitation, is timely and has an excellent business ethic. The customer is always his priority and it shows. Plus, as a member of the local fire department, he's got random emergencies and clutzy customers covered just in case! This is your guy if you've got stuff to move out.
Zach and his team were great to work with—highly recommend. Thorough, neat, and efficient. Great communication: I had tagged some items not to be removed, and Zach called me about some items he was uncertain about whether to take away. Fair pricing for the work.
Great removal company! Zach is professional, thorough and so nice. Nothing was too much effort for him to do. I highly recommend Seacoast Junk & Demo. I will definitely call them again.
