See Level Landscape Design

About 185 linear feet of natural stone dry wall, a waterfall and pond, and a large bluestone patio: that was one 2021 job for See Level Landscape Design, a Stratford landscape design-and-build business, described by a Shelton couple who credited Lloyd and his two-man crew. Its reviews run from 2011 to 2023, and Lloyd is named in the written accounts from 2013 to 2021. The work is design first, then installation. A June 2020 reviewer said Lloyd's stonework on walls, firepits, stairs and a patio was meticulous and that he also handled plantings, low-voltage lighting and large tree and shrub installs, with regular status reports. In an April 2020 review, a homeowner finishing the landscaping around a new pool said he helped choose plants, trees and stone, gave a date and duration, and stayed on budget while on site daily. A 2017 customer, a retired Marine, said the final bill came in under the estimate because less topsoil was needed, and a 2014 condo association described a phased project starting with removing four trees, on schedule and within budget. A complaint dates to 2011: an Angi reviewer said bushes and evergreens were planted too shallow, an evergreen died soon after, and they had to replant a bush themselves. It holds 5.0 stars from 19 ratings on both Angi and HomeAdvisor and 5 stars from 4 on Google. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0607240, held by See Level Landscape Design, is listed as expired.
