Its own website lists transportation, highway, municipal and private roads, airports, bridges, earthwork, underground utilities, site development, subdivisions, athletic fields, paving and parking lots among what it does, and the company says it has been in business 49 years. On Google it holds 4.4 stars from 51 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. A recent Google customer called it a great company, very knowledgeable. A recent Google reviewer gave one star, writing that the entrance and exit of their apartment complex was made a disaster, with at least a 2-inch lip that throws you every time you go over it.
“Gorham-based Shaw Brothers Construction, one of southern Maine’s largest earthwork contractors, will manage the project for the Maine Department of Transportation.”
“Shaw Brothers Construction is the contractor on two projects at Maine’s largest airport set to start on April 23 and wrap up on Nov. 23.”
Made the entrance and exit of our apartment complex a disaster, its got at least a 2inch lip that throws you every time you go over it. The fact ive seen most workers in the area smoking weed inside their cars during lunch, and a bunch of them sitting around doing nothing while holding up traffic. Its no surprise the roads constantly need to be redone, theyre not doing them right the first time.
