Shea Landscaping LLC's website says that for over 13 years Jason Shea, a native of the Pioneer Valley and the owner of the company, has been providing professional services throughout the region. A 2017 Angi reviewer said they had used the company for snow plowing for many years and always thought it was expensive. That 2017 reviewer wrote that snow removal was priced by the inches, that under 3 inches they didn't bother, and that they had to shovel out their own cars. The same 2017 reviewer said that in the last year they used the company, the work was subcontracted to someone more local whom they never got to meet.
“Shea Landscaping approved for snow removal with low bid.”
We had him for many years for snow plowing, and I always thought it was expensive. For the last couple of years we haven't had bad winters. But right now we have a lot of snow, just this week, so that's a problem. Snow removal is very expensive. It is priced by the inches, a different price for how much snow which they get from the weather service. If it's under than 3 inches, they don't bother, over 3 inches, they have a scale that they price it by. I don't have that much area and what I didn't like is that they didn't consider that I would like to move the cars so they could do the whole area. So we had to shovel out the cars and I felt like we had to do too much for what we paid them. Over the years there were some issues with coming home from work, and we couldn't get in the driveway. First of all, he isn't close to our town so the last year we used them, he subcontracted to someone more local and I didn't get the feeling that I knew them. I didn't get to meet them.
