Shepherd Lawn Maintenance

Shepherd Lawn Maintenance is a lawn and landscaping company in Spencer, Massachusetts. Its site says it has provided landscaping services since 2022 and lists lawn, landscaping, hardscaping, masonry and snow services, and the company describes itself as Eagle Scout owned and operated. A recent customer said Joe did their patio work and, once the patio was finished, added a side rock wall to their existing rock wall to help keep the patio stable. That customer said the cleanup included loaming over the parts of the lawn damaged during the project. A recent reviewer said a large patio done the year before was solid as a rock and matched the house and landscaping. On the lawn side, a recent customer scheduled the company to dethatch a lawn whose grass grows on rhizomes and said they also cleaned up the loose thatch and edged around the walkways and driveways. A recent reviewer said Ben and the crew arrived on the date promised for front-yard work that included bushes, flowers and a new lawn. A 2025 customer with about 16,000 square feet of yard, with inclines, trees and perennials, said the company had done both a fall cleanup and a spring cleanup there and came every few weeks to mow. A 2025 reviewer said the fall cleanup covered a full acre of land in 3.5 hours. A 2025 customer said Ben took care of their lawn while they were laid up for surgery for 6 weeks, and a 2025 customer who texted Ben after their lawnmower broke said he came the next day. A 2024 customer who found Ben on Facebook said he cut their lawn every week for a reasonable rate, then was hired for a landscaping project, a fall cleanup and clearing brush in the backyard.
