SILVER FERN LANDSCAPING

Silver Fern Landscaping has been serving Norwell and the South Shore for decades, and its Better Business Bureau file backs that up with an A+ rating and 34 years in business. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration — held under its formal name, Silver Fern Services LLC — is currently expired according to the state registry. Landscaping-only work doesn't require that registration in Massachusetts, but a business that once held one and let it lapse is a different fact worth knowing before signing a larger contract. For straightforward landscaping and lawn work, Silver Fern's long local history and clean BBB rating make it a reasonable call; for anything larger in scope, it's worth asking directly about current licensing.
