Sloss Electrical Contracting says on its website it has been in business 58 years, and its BBB profile describes electrical contracting for residential, commercial and industrial customers. A 2025 customer said Kevin responded promptly about a Level 2 EV charger, came to the house to assess the location and told them what to order. That 2025 customer wrote that Will did the installation and the charger was installed two hours after the truck arrived. A 2024 customer said that after a bad thunderstorm they came out the same day, diagnosed the issue, provided two options and identified a serious problem that required an EverSource intervention. A 2023 customer whose house had been extensively renovated said Kevin talked through the lighting and the organization of switches and outlets in every room. A 2023 review describes a generator hookup and an upgraded service at the reviewer's house. A 2026 customer said Kevin came to the house to discuss several electrical projects, but no estimate was sent. That customer's voicemail and email got no response, and after Kevin said the office would send the quote, they had still heard nothing from Sloss Electric.
Dylan has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Great company. Very easy to work with and we're thrilled with the quality and professionalism
On Friday 4/24, I spoke with Kevin regarding various electrical projects I wanted to obtain an estimate/quote for. He came to the house we discussed the various projects that I wanted to have done and by all accounts appeared to be quite eager to take on the job. I was advised that I would receive an estimate by either Monday or Tuesday of the following week (4/27-28). The time frame had passed and no estimate had been sent. Of course I understood that contractors are often busy and perhaps the estimate was simply delayed. On 4/30 I thought I would give Kevin a call which went to voicemail, where I left a message identifying myself and the purpose of my call. I also sent an email to the business email address again identifying myself and inquiring as to the status of the estimate/quote. I received no response to either message. On 5/1 I again called Kevin and this time he answered my call. I again identified myself and inquired about the estimate/quote. Unlike my initial conversations with Kevin where he was eager to come to the house and assess the work I wanted done, this time his tone was one of someone who is completely annoyed by our conversation. He went on to say that the estimate/quote would be sent out by the office. As of today Monday 6/11, I have not heard from anyone at Sloss Electric! Thankfully I have since found an electrician who is actually interested in customer satisfaction and provided an estimate as well as a project start date all with 12 hours of contacting him. If you want to get ghosted by a contractor, call Sloss Electric!

Great experience. Did complicated electrical work. Showed up quickly, fair price and they have very knowledgeable electric I ans.
These guys are great. Kevin responded promptly to my inquiry about a Level 2 EV charger. He came to the house to assess the location and told me what to order. The installation was scheduled for 9 am today and at 9 am the Sloss truck pulled into the driveway. Two hours later my charger was installed and works perfectly. Will did the installation and he was thorough and proficient. Extremely satisfied with Sloss Electric and will definitely use them again.
