SM Tree Service describes itself on HomeAdvisor as a small company based in southern New Hampshire that specializes in technical tree removals and ornamental pruning. On HomeAdvisor it holds 5.0 stars from 30 ratings. A 2021 Angi customer had a large tree between two buildings and no way to get a crane in; that 2021 customer said Seamus climbed it and rigged each piece so he could lower it to the ground with ropes, and nothing ever fell. A 2021 customer on Angi said the company removed two maples close to their house, near power lines and other structures. A 2022 customer said Seamus called "within like 10 minutes" of a HomeAdvisor/Angi search, was at the house later that day, and had eight trees removed for them. A 2022 customer said Seamus gave several options, including doing the job in stages, so they could decide what fit their budget. In 2023, a customer said Seamus cut down a maple tree, an apple tree and damaged maple branches over three hours and would be back to clean up when possible. In 2023, a customer who had five trees taken down said Seamus rescheduled because equipment needed repair, then showed up on the next scheduled work day.
Seamus worked fast. For three hours he cut down all damaged trees and branches- a maple tree, an apple tree and several damaged and hanging maple branches, then he moved these tree logs to a pile to be cut up later and moved small tree branches to a second pile to be chipped later. He will be back to clean up when possible. We are pleased with his initial work.
They were fantastic. They took the time to explain what they were going to do, explained it as they were doing it, in a manner that I understood and they cleaned the area exceptionally well. They were punctual, worked what they could each day, and we are very happy and satisfied with the outcome.
We had 5 trees plus small ones taken down . One by my road and brush also, two giant Oaks out back of my house plus a couple of others that were dead. Seamus was great to work with and his tree cutter Cooper was great at landing the trees not to hit anything near house or road. He did reschedule because of equipment to be repaired but, he did show up on the next scheduled work day. At this time of my work he worked alone after trees were cut, but was VERY efficient and cleaned up when complete. I used his guy for removing stumps out by the road very good and friendly.
Duncan from Red Line did a super job We asked to cut tree in 2 ft sections The clean up was awesome I would recommend him to anyone
Owner is incredibly responsive, excellent workmanship, great customer service, and clean up. Highly recommended!!!
