Solaflect Energy is known for solar trackers, and in a 2026 Reddit post on r/vermont a commenter said it was worth the $20K, describing a standalone unit mounted on a pole with the panels affixed on top. On Angi, the company describes itself as a Vermont-based developer, manufacturer and installer of ground-mounted, dual-axis solar trackers, founded in 2007. Its website says it designs customized energy backup systems for homes. A 2024 Reddit commenter on r/vermont said they used Solaflect, based out of Norwich, and that their tracker automatically changes position when it gets really windy. That 2024 commenter praised the company's service and after-support. A 2023 r/vermont commenter who got a pole-mounted tracker from Solaflect said its price came within 2-3k of a fixed or roof option. A 2022 Google reviewer who bought a home with two Solaflect trackers said the company reached out right away, sent a service technician to give a tour of the system and helped with setup with the utility company. When the WiFi to the panels later dropped, that 2022 reviewer said a technician named Jim came out the next day and restored the connection to the trackers. In a 2019 Angi review, a customer said the trackers follow the sun and shed snow when vertical, while the neighbors' roof-mounted panels stayed covered for days after a snowstorm. A 2019 Angi customer said the company advised on the best location for the panels, suggested cutting down two trees, and that the install was "done flawless."

We recently purchased a home with two Solaflect trackers and have been so impressed by their customer and technical support. They reached out right away and sent out a service technician to give us a tour of the system, and were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the setup with our utility company. Recently, the WiFi to our panels dropped unbeknownst to us, and they quickly sent an email asking us to check on the connection. When we weren't sure just what to check, they sent a service technician out the next day. Jim was prompt, kind, and very helpful in quickly restoring the connection to our trackers. We highly recommend Solaflect to anyone looking to reduce their electric bill, build resiliency into the Vermont electric grid, and support a fine local business.
They are a pleasure to work my experience with them is outstanding they gave the honest opinion to give the best location where to put my solar panel and even suggest to cut down 2 trees so I can get the best out of my solar system. The install was done flawless.
Our panels are working flawlessly, producing electricity for our house and to power up a car for most of our driving. Trackers are great. They follow the sun and when vertical, they shed snow. Our neighbors have roof mounts. Their panels are covered for days after a snowstorm when ours are clear and working. It was a good decision. Solaflect is a wonderful company. They engineer and produce a superb system, install it well, and take good care of their customers.
