The company calls itself a family-owned, locally operated excavation and site-work business based in Plymouth, with a Middleborough location. It says it was established in 2015 and advertises over 20 years of experience. Its stated offerings include excavation, demolition, landscaping, septic systems and snow removal. Plymouth Independent describes the firm’s coastal-protection work in the area. Google shows 4.5 stars from 70 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 186608, held by Liam Delowery, is active on the state registry. In a March 2026 review, a customer said Liam, Freddie and the team had rebuilt a seawall, managed it annually with photos and revisions, and handled cliff plantings and lawn maintenance. Landscape design was planned for that spring. Another March 2026 customer said SCC chinked a rip-rap wall and corrected missed areas within the agreed price. An August 2024 reviewer described wetlands restoration and erosion control on a beachfront property, including help working with the conservation commission. A June 2024 reviewer described replacing an island property’s septic system and praised Liam’s explanations and coordination with Conservation and the Board of Health. One customer’s written update, explicitly dated November 1, 2024, said a seawall remained unfinished after a promised October 1 completion and an unanswered October 21 call. South Coast did a great job managing the snow removal efforts for our Plymouth rental portfolio. They battled a tough South Shore 25/26 winter season and were attentive to our property's needs.
Liam, Freddie and the team have been wonderful. They re-built our seawall and manage it each year with photos and revisions, cliff plantings as needed. They also do our property lawn maintenance and will be doing some landscape design this spring. They are accessible and knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend!
SCC chinked my rip-rap wall. They did a professional job were timely and polite and when I pointed out a few missed areas were happy to fix within the agreed upon price.
