We had a back yard that needed a LOT of help. We’d recently had some trees taken down which left areas bare and over grown with brush, a lawn that was non-existent and worn out from the dogs, an old fire-pit that hadn’t been touched in years, and just a sorry looking area that had become embarrassing. The yard had been separated into “zones” (an upper area, a lower over grown wooded and brush area, and a back/side yard) Zach Spicer came out to look at the yard, listened to what areas we had specific concerns with, such as areas that get muddy and icy in the winter. He offered some ideas of his own that he felt would solve problem areas and be aesthetically pleasing. He opened us up to the idea of merging the separate areas and make it one big open yard. Zach sent me an estimate within hours (not days or weeks as some contractors do) and within days he and his amazing crew arrived and got right to work. I still can’t believe how beautiful my yard is now! The fire-pit was rebuilt with precision, we had a stone patio installed and a special place for our swing. The yard was cleared and regraded creating an open, inviting area that will soon be a sprawling beautiful lawn. The crew is incredibly professional, kind, and respectful. They put life into our yard again and created an oasis that will be so enjoyable to spend time in for many years to come. I highly recommend Spicer landscaping services!
Zack and his team recently did a total rework of our yard including drainage issues, walkways, retaining walls and fencing. Their commitment to doing the job right without shortcuts is refreshing. They were very flexible with changes and additions as the job progressed as well as offering suggestions to improve the end result. Highly recommend them if you want a top notch job at a reasonable price.

A huge thank you to Spicer Lawn Care! We arrived home ~11pm after a week away and the weekend snowstorm. We had just started shoveling the plowed in drive so we could pull the car off the street. One of Spicer’s plow team members drove by, saw us working in the dark, and—out of pure kindness—offered to clear our driveway. We were incredibly grateful for this unexpected help. We will definitely consider them in the future for our lawn care and snow plowing needs.
