Stately Tree Service says on its website that it handles tree removal for residential and commercial properties, including trees that are dead, damaged, leaning or close to a house. It holds 4.8 stars from 60 Google ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. A tree fell on one customer's house during a storm; that customer said the company came out, helped get the trees off the house and out of the back yard, and left the back yard cleaned up. A Google customer described limb and tree removal done directly above their house and septic tank. A customer said they cut a tree hovering around electrical lines and called the work very fairly priced. A customer listed the removal of a live tree leaning over a pool and many dead and fallen trees, along with topping two birches and trimming several overgrown trees. A customer who had used them for two rounds of tree work said four pine trees were removed, including stump grinding, within two days, and that it rained both times without compromising the schedule. A customer of eleven years said Jamie made sure a large limb that created a safety concern was removed, and that everything was cleaned up afterward, including bark that had been in the driveway before the job. A customer who had them out twice said they raked up and leaf blew after completion, leaving the yard as they found it. One customer noted that they checked a nest to make sure it was empty. A 2026 customer from Woodstock, CT said a large tree was across the driveway during a wind storm; the call-back came within 5 minutes and a crew was there within 30 minutes. A 2025 customer wrote that over three visits in the last few years the company removed more than 50 trees from their property. A 2024 customer said an ash tree was taken down and its stump removed without any damage to the 12-foot hemlocks that form their privacy line. A 2020 Angi customer said he did not keep appointments and was a no-show three hours after promising to arrive. That 2020 customer also warned that on a wet yard the front-loading tractor's narrow front tires will create ruts. In 2025, a Google reviewer who said they never hired the company wrote that it left its sign on their road frontage without permission.
