We contacted Stiles & Sons for land and vegetation clearing and a brand new driveway install, and some more restoration work. From the beginning, Fred provided the most comprehensive, straightforward and reasonable estimate. Just by looking at the quality of the estimate we knew that we were dealing with a very smart and capable pro. For us, this was a massive project. For him, it was a one man job in 4 days. He understood the assignment, religiously stayed on schedule from the beginning to end, and he absolutely overdelivered. No delays, no surprises or hiccups. He orchestrated the whole thing without even leaving his excavator. It was sort of wild to watch him tackle all the acreage with his fancy equipment with surgical precision. After calling several contractors (6 other companies) to look at an erosion issue on our hill caused by rain water runoff, Fred was the only one who provided a truly practical and affordable solution. Fred work was top-notch as he installed riprap to secure our hill and protect the fence up top, while also prepping and grading the rest of the yard for grass seed, and removing an old cracked pathway. He was direct, professional, affordable and solved a problem that other companies made much more complicated. Stiles came out to a new home we purchased, fought through 12 yrs of neglected yard and overgrowth, vines , trees , debris ect . I can not say enough about his professionalism with that machine, me being in construction industry. I would recommend him 10 times over great job Stiles n sons .
