In a June 2025 Google review, a homeowner whose Mansard roof the company installed in 5/2020 wrote that shingles fell off in 10/2022, again in 9/2023 and again in 4/2025. The company sent people out to repair the shingles the first two times; the third request, made under a signed contract that states a lifetime warranty on labor and material, drew an email saying the business had closed. In an update, the same reviewer wrote that Brian Sarisley had closed Go with home pro, LLC and is now operating as Stonecrest Roofing and Siding. A July 2024 Google review describes a winter job on a 1917 Craftsman-style home after the owners' insurer required a new roof by January 21st. The team, led by Tony, worked on the roof, installed new corbels the homeowners made to replace rotted originals, built a structure to support the sagging eaves on the house and garage, installed soffit, covered the fascia and rake, and had gutters installed. When gutter pitch showed up after torrential rains, the fix was another downspout. A June 2024 HomeAdvisor reviewer wrote that the team stripped the roof, checked the plywood underlay to see how many panels needed replacing, and re-shingled within a normal working day; Stonecrest also reimbursed the cost of having the manufacturer reset the pitch on a roof-mounted Sunsetter awning, something the contract did not oblige it to do. A May 2024 HomeAdvisor review says the old roof came off and the new one went on in one day. In a March 2025 HomeAdvisor review, a customer wrote that they chose the company because they spoke with the owner, Brian, rather than a salesperson, and that the installer team, led by Tony, worked despite temperatures in the 30s on their Forest Green siding with white trim. A November 2024 HomeAdvisor review of a roof and siding replacement says Brian provided a detailed quote, and Allison came to the house with samples and pointed them to local homes with the colors they were considering. On its website, the company says it has served Connecticut homeowners for more than 30 years and is run by Brian Sarisley and his wife Allison. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0668262, is active with the state under Stonecrest Roofing and Siding LLC. HomeAdvisor shows 4.8 stars from 191 ratings; Google shows 3.7 from 3.
The roof looks beautiful and they did professional job .They were clean and quick.
Great experience from proposal to installation. Very easy to talk to and no pressure tactics which I appreciated. Crew were efficient and good to work with.
Please save your money and go to a reliable contractor. This contractor did my roof in 5/2020. In 10/2022, only 2 and a half years later, shingles fell off my roof. I reached out to the owner, Brian, and his wife Allison responded. (Side note: the only time I ever heard from Brian was when he was trying to land the sale and before he got my money. Once he got my money I never saw or heard from him again. He did not even come look at the job his crew had done.) Anyway, they sent their crew out some time in November to fix the shingles. Then in 9/2023, more shingles fell off. Again I emailed Brian and got a response from his wife, Allison. Since this was the 2nd time in 3 years that this had happened I asked Allison to have the roof inspected and for the issue to be rectified. Initially she was polite and professional and stated she would have the job foreman inspect the roof. Unfortunately, it took a bit longer to have someone come out this time but they did finally send someone out to have the shingles repaired. When I asked about whether the roof was inspected I got quite the rude reply back from Allison. I left it alone hoping the issue would not happen again. Now it is 4/2025, not even a full 5 years since the roof was replaced and more shingles have fallen off. This is the third time in 5 years. This time around when I asked them to repair and inspect the roof. I received the email which I have posted stating that the business has closed. The reply came 4 hours after my email was sent so it was certainly NOT an automated reply. Also, if I check online, the business appears to be open and still running. I have all our email correspondence saved as well as the signed contract which states that there is a lifetime warranty on labor and material. I should state that I do have a steep roof called a Mansard roof and according to my own research, this type of roof requires careful installation, often involving extra nails and sealing to ensure durability. I can confidently say that my roof did not get the proper installation which a reputable contractor would have been able to do. I am so disappointed in this company and cannot believe people have no pride in their work or their businesses these days. Please save your time and money. Update: This man, Brian Sarisley, did in fact end up closing up his business, Go with home pro, LLC and is now operating under the name of Stonecrest Roofing and Siding. Based on other reviews I’ve read him and his wife have done this to multiple people. Again, please save yourself the hassle and go to a real contractor.
They did an outstanding job!
Brian and Allison, owners of Stonecrest Roofing & Siding, were terrific to work with. We obtained several quotes from companies recommended by Angi. We decided to go with Stonecrest because we felt that speaking with the actual owner of the company, Brian, rather than working with a salesperson, was an asset. We didn't feel pressure to sign a contract at our initial meeting. With numerous discussions regarding the contract and determining exactly how the job would be done, we felt most comfortable with Stonecrest. The installer team, led by Tony, was courteous and helpful in answering all our questions regarding installation. The job was completed in a remarkably short period, and the crew worked despite temperatures in the 30s, which was unexpected. We chose a Forest Green siding with white trim. We love the new look of our home and our experience with Stonecrest.
