Sunday Landscaping is run out of Cumberland, Rhode Island by David Sunday, but a good share of its work is across the state line in Southern Massachusetts — the company was out clearing driveways during a Southern Mass snowstorm in February 2026, and its HomeAdvisor profile counts a Quincy customer among its references. The everyday call here is yard work: shrub trimming, stump removal, lawn aeration, and cleanup jobs that turn an overgrown lot into something usable again. The last six months of reviews are uniformly positive. An August 2026 HomeAdvisor review from a Quincy customer called the shrub and bush trimming 'outstanding'; another from the same month described the crew as friendly and quick to clean up after themselves. In July 2026, one customer said a yard that could have passed for an 'amazon forest' came back looking well cared for, and another described an unexpected extra cleanup and dump run as a pleasant surprise. In April 2026, an Angi reviewer said David had an opening in his schedule and finished early, calling the results 'fantastic, exactly what we were looking for.' The record from 2024 and 2025 is more mixed. A July 2024 reviewer, a senior on a fixed income, said a paid job clearing growth around pine trees for a picnic area was never finished and that calls afterward went unanswered. A July 2025 Google review described mulch and debris left scattered after a cleanup, with no return visit despite being given a chance to fix it, and another from the same week said a lawn aeration and reseeding job didn't take. Those sit alongside plenty of praise from the same stretch — an October 2025 Angi review called communication 'great from the start' on a yard cleanup, and a 2024 review said weekly cuts and seasonal work were handled reliably and at a reasonable price. Ratings vary sharply by platform: Google shows 3.1 stars from 7 ratings, while HomeAdvisor and Angi both report 4.8 from 55 — a much larger sample skewed heavily positive (91% five-star). The BBB profile lists 5 years in business, while HomeAdvisor and Angi describe 26 years of experience, which is worth asking about directly. For routine yard cleanup and trimming work, recent customers have been consistently happy; for a larger job, or one with a firm follow-up requirement, it's worth getting the scope and return-visit plan in writing given the earlier complaints.
He was friendly, went right to work cleaned up, and very nice, and very personable.
Dave & Lourenco from Sunday Landscaping did an outstanding job trimming, cutting and shaping shrubs and bushes that were covering the front of my house! I recommend them highly!! Joyce in Quincy
I wish i had before and after photos to show the difference. I do not, but imagine a hot mess of a yard that could be an amazon forest with wildlife soon to movie in to a well sane ordered urban yard where human are happliy enjoying the yard. Yes, they transformed the yard. So if you have a hot mess of a yard thst needs taming.....hire this guy you will not regret it.
They did a great job. Let me know they were going to the dump at one point. Cleaned up areas I didn't expect and was appreciated. Definitely would recommend them. Will hire again when needed.
Quick response and prompt pickup.
