Superior Arbor Care

Jose and his crew did an amazing job, once again! They’re the BEST!

For years, I've been working with Jose for all my tree care needs, and he is truly top-notch. He is incredibly knowledgeable about arboriculture and takes the time to explain the health of my trees rather than just cutting away. Professional, punctual, and highly recommended for anyone who cares about their property's long-term health.

These guys are the best in the business. We hired them to take down a giant sycamore at our house, about 75 feet tall and five feet across, close to a century old. Houses on all sides, stairs up to the yard, no room for mistakes. They rigged it, took it down in careful bites, swung every piece into the side yard, then packed it up to the truck like it weighed nothing. Zero drama, zero damage. Watching them work is an art show. Clean cuts, clean plan, clean site when they were done. Jose is a class act. If he says he will handle it, it gets handled. His crew is skilled, polite, and fast. He is a certified arborist and, from what I understand, even teaches classes. If you need tree work, trimming, removals, or just straight advice, call Jose. Five out of five. Easy recommendation.

Great service, fair prices and incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend Jose and his team.

Jose and his crew from Superior Arbor Care recently came out to work on two of our Sugar Maples here in Wilton, and I was really impressed with the care they put into both jobs. One of the trees is very old, and they cabled it to help protect against storm damage and pruned it to improve airflow. The other tree, unfortunately, was in decline due to rot and had to be removed. Because our backyard is small and the tree sits over our septic and leaching fields, they had to lower it down carefully in sections — and they did it flawlessly. When they finished, everything was chipped and cleaned up so well you’d never know they had just taken down a large tree. I also appreciated how much time Jose spent explaining what was going on with the trees and why certain steps were needed. I never felt pressured — just informed. While they were here, I mentioned we’ve been seeing more Spotted Lanternflies, and they told me about their seasonal treatment program for invasive insects. I decided to sign up, and I feel better knowing that’s being addressed too. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily have them back for future tree care.
