On a Saturday in early 2024, storm water got into a homeowner's electric panel and ruined a breaker. Their regular electrician said four to five days; George of T & G Electrical was there in under half an hour, fixed it, and his crew also repaired the line the storm had partly pulled off the house. That February 2024 review is one of 22 on Google, where the Dedham company holds 4.9 stars from 33 ratings. The company says it does residential and commercial electrical work in Dedham and Westwood, offers free estimates, has been in business 20 years, and is run by George Boukouvalas. George T. Boukouvalas's Massachusetts electrician license, #20466-EL-A, is active. EV chargers are the job that keeps coming up. A February 2026 customer had George put in a subpanel, wiring for an electric water heater and an EV charger, and called the quote competitive. A September 2025 review describes a charger installed quickly at a reasonable price. In a December 2024 review, George came the day after the call, worked out a cable route through the basement and under the porch to the top of the driveway, and finished at the quoted price. Earlier charger jobs appear in 2022 and 2024 reviews. Customers also describe straight answers. In a 2024 review, T & G diagnosed over the phone that a problem sat on the utility's side, and the utility fixed it for free; a 2021 customer had a bathroom fan light fixed by following George's texted steps. In a 2023 review, a couple with an old house and a previous electrician's mistakes said George's team checked every outlet, fixed the errors and updated the wiring. One 1★ review, from December 2022, said the company was hard to get out for an estimate and "kind of rude on the phone."
George put in a subpanel, wiring for an electric water heater, and an EV charger. He was communicative, practical, on time, and professional. Their quote was competitive and I’m very happy with the work. Highly recommend their services.
T&G installed an EV charger for me. They did excellent work very quickly and at a reasonable price. I would use them again for any electrical issue.

With the new EV, we needed a level 2 charger at home. Called T&G and George came out the next day and figured out how to run the cable through the basement and under the porch so that he could install the charger at the top of our driveway. He was back a few days later and did exactly what he described at the exactly the quoted price. George and T&G are the best!
