T Grey Landscape & Design

Eighteen hydrangeas planted, hostas moved, ivy pulled, beds dug, a rose of Sharon hedge trimmed — that is one July 2026 job list, and the customer says every bit of it was carried out the way they had asked. T Grey Landscape & Design is a Hull company, a sole proprietorship owned by Tyler Grey, working the South Shore on landscape design, hardscaping, drainage, weekly mowing, mulching and full yard renovations. Most of the written accounts run from 2018 to 2020, and they describe a particular way of working. A December 2020 customer wrote that Tyler showed up on time for the estimate, said his crew was insured, walked the property once with them and again on the day of the job, carrying notes from the first walk. A November 2020 homeowner said he was the first landscaper to return a call on a job as small as $2,100, then moved fast to track down planting material late in the season. Seasonal cleanups and mulching account for several of those accounts: a December 2018 customer called it a perfect cleanup at a reasonable price and more efficient than other crews they had used, a October 2019 review covers spring cleanup and mulching, and a May 2020 one is downed limbs and debris cleared. A November 2018 customer had sod installed and hedges pruned. The work has kept going. An August 2024 Angi customer credited Tyler and his crew with the quality of the job, and the Hull Times reported in July 2025 that a board approved, on two separate votes, a contract for the 2025 season paying the company $975 per cut to mow the entire HRA property. One thing a March 2020 customer flagged is still worth asking about: Tyler stays busy, and a reply can take a day or two — though that customer added he had followed through and taken good care of them. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ letter grade. For planting, seasonal cleanups and a yard that needs a design rather than just a mower, this is a straightforward call — settle the start date and the crew's insurance in writing, and ask where in the season your job would actually fall.
