T.S. Lynch Co.

T.S. Lynch Co. is a two-person landscape outfit out of Milton that has been at it since February 2002 — 24 years of lawns, plantings, patios and stonework, run by owner Timothy Lynch. The range is wide for a shop that size. Between its BBB and Houzz listings the company puts its name to landscape construction and maintenance, hardscaping and paver patios, retaining walls, masonry and concrete, drainage and dry wells, sod and mulch, tree and stump removal — and fence and gate work, including wood and chain-link installation and repair. Houzz shows it covering roughly 50 Greater Boston towns and neighbourhoods, Winthrop among them. What is missing is anyone's account of the work. Its BBB page carries a rating of A+ (the company is not BBB accredited), but neither BBB nor Houzz holds a single customer review, so there is nothing from a homeowner to weigh — which is why no rating is given here. Neither profile lists a licence number, and Massachusetts exempts landscaping-only and fencing-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration, so that by itself says nothing against them. If your job crosses into structural masonry or a larger build, ask what registration they carry, ask for addresses of recent patio or wall jobs you can look at, and get the scope and price in writing.
