A waterfront back yard of steep, unwalkable hills that the grandchildren could not use — Tom Fullen looked at it, said he could build it, and did. That October 2024 account is the kind of job T-Scape's customers keep describing: ground that fights back, turned into something usable. A 2024 customer with a new in-ground pool on a slope needed a retaining wall and an existing bluestone patio matched and extended, and chose T-Scape after calling round. The company is based in Dighton with its own material yard, working across southeastern New England on landscape and hardscape design, construction and maintenance for houses and businesses. Tom Fullen founded it and the site says the family has 24 years in the trade; James Connors runs operations. A Houzz listing shows it as a Belgard authorized contractor for pavers. Hardscape is the heart of it. Reviewers describe a stone walkway and patio with a fire pit in 2025, a rounded patio built as a summer yard for two toddlers, paver reconstruction on an existing patio and walkway, a patio and retaining wall in 2022, and porch and hardscape work through the fall of 2023. Landscaping runs alongside: power raking and hydroseeding, finish grading and new lawns, a privacy bed, landscape lighting on a new-construction home, and snow removal for a commercial property that later handed over its landscaping too. Crews get named as often as the owner. A 2022 customer said they arrived at 8am every day until the job was done; a 2025 customer said the owner came out, proposed a fix, and the work started two days later and finished the same day. When a July 3 thunderstorm took down an entryway arbor in 2025, the customer wrote about how the team responded. The front end is where the friction shows. A customer writing in August 2026 gave one star and described the whole process as slow motion: two weeks for someone to come out and quote, a week more to receive it, a three-week timeline from the salesman at the outset, then an email tying the schedule to a 50% deposit. For patios, walls, grading and the hard ground nobody else wants to touch, this is a strong call. Ask for the quote turnaround and the start date in writing up front, and confirm what the deposit buys.
