Tabbutt Asphalt and Excavation L.L.C

Tabbutt Asphalt and Excavation is a family-run Worcester company that lays driveways and parking lots and does the digging underneath them — paving installs, asphalt repair and patching, patios and sealcoating, for houses, businesses and municipal jobs, by its own description. The written accounts land in one stretch: four Angi reviews from April and May 2021, all 5★ and all for asphalt paving. In the May 2021 one, a homeowner wrote that J Tabbutt and his crew showed up when expected, did the driveway and cleaned up completely before leaving. Customers writing that April described a courteous crew that took care of everything, one of them saying the property looked much better afterwards. Two of the jobs behind those reviews are quoted at $3,200 and $5,100. Something more recent: a commenter in r/WorcesterMA in May 2026 said the company pays attention to the details. One thing to raise on the phone — Angi's profile gives two different tenure figures for the business, 11 years of experience in its highlights and over 20 years in the About paragraph. The same four customer reviews also carry over to its HomeAdvisor page, so the two 5.0 averages come from one set of customers rather than two. For a Worcester driveway that needs paving, patching or sealing, this is the small, owner-led crew those 2021 customers describe. Ask how many years they have actually been paving, get the base prep and the price written into the quote, and find out what the surface is warranted for after its first winter.
