THERRIEN LANDSCAPING LLC

Therrien Landscaping LLC is a Carlisle, Massachusetts outfit built around hands-on landscape design — the kind of work that shows up in its reviews as full patio and walkway builds, retaining walls, and even a shoreline development project coordinated through state and local permitting. Owner Mercer Therrien and his partner Anthony run the crew, and the reviews on Houzz consistently describe a company that listens first and then executes. In a 2021 review, a homeowner described Mercer designing "a beautiful patio, walkway and landing" at a summer home, capturing exactly what they had in mind; another from that same year credited him and Anthony with handling a shoreline development design and walking the whole permitting process with state and local government. A more recent 2025 review from a repeat client called the work prompt and on budget, with Mercer going, in their words, "above and beyond." What's worth knowing: the written record is thin — just four reviews total on Houzz, and three of the four date to 2021, with a multi-year gap before the next one landed in 2025. Nothing in that record is negative; it's simply a small, dated sample rather than a steady run of new reviews. For a homeowner planning a hardscape project — a new patio, a retaining wall, or something more involved like shoreline work that needs permit coordination — this looks like a design-forward outfit worth a conversation. Ask for a couple of recent references given how sparse the written history is, then let Mercer walk you through the same design-first process his past clients describe.
