Tim Acton Landscaping

Tim Acton Landscaping is a landscape design-and-build company based in Centerville on Cape Cod, in business since 1974 and recorded by BBB as under new ownership and incorporated as an LLC since December 2022. The company handles full landscape construction — patios, walkways, stone walls, retaining walls and fire pits — alongside ongoing lawn and yard maintenance such as mulching, edging, pruning and seasonal cleanups. In a detailed 2021 Google review, a homeowner described a complete yard makeover — a new retaining wall, patio, walkway, hydroseeded lawn, and granite steps and porch on both the front and back of the house — and credited the owner, Tim, and his crew with being responsive, transparent about pricing, and considerate of neighbors during a lengthy project. The Google Business Profile carries a 4.7-star average from 14 ratings, and BBB lists the business at an A+ letter grade, though it is not a BBB-accredited business. A more recent 2025 Google review raises a separate concern about a company vehicle's driving near a work site — unrelated to the quality of any landscaping work. Because BBB records a change of ownership and incorporation in December 2022, it's worth asking the company directly who currently runs the crew and whether the standards described in the 2021 review still hold. For Cape Cod homeowners looking for a full-service landscape design-and-build outfit that also covers routine lawn care, Tim Acton Landscaping's long local track record and detailed praise for a past hardscaping project make it worth a call — just confirm current ownership and crew before booking larger work.
