When a neighbor's tree took down the power lines outside one Tewksbury home in 2021, leaving a live wire in the street and the fire department blocking traffic, the homeowner called Timothy Santos, who diagnosed the situation over FaceTime, grabbed the supplies he needed, and came out to fix it. That kind of story shows up again and again in the reviews: a homeowner who panicked over an electrified water pipe got Tim and a teammate out on a Sunday; another who'd called four different electricians on a Friday night said Tim was the only one who showed up; and on Thanksgiving one year, Tim picked up the phone himself and made the repair in person after every "24/7" service he'd tried came up empty. Tim, who says he spent 15 years in the trade including six as a project manager for high-end electrical firms before starting his own company, runs a small, well-regarded crew — Ryan, Pete, Mike, and Nate come up by name across different jobs — out of Tewksbury, covering Middlesex County towns including Lowell, Billerica, and Andover. Beyond emergency calls, the reviews describe real, larger-scale work: a 2025 job upgraded a 1970s home to 200-amp service, including new underground wiring from the street and a rerouted main line through the garage attic, and a 2026 review said the team handled all the electrical work while a home was rebuilt after a fire. The written record runs 61 reviews deep with nothing negative on file, and Tim's Massachusetts electrician license, #8954, is active and verified against the state registry. This is a strong call for anything from a middle-of-the-night emergency to a full service upgrade in the Tewksbury/Middlesex County area.
I highly recommend Tim and his team of electricians at Timothy Santos Electric. The quoting and contract process was professional and the price was very competitive. I contracted for a new electrical panel with surge protection and interlock for a portable generator, plus run wiring for a portable generator. The team then physically ensured all connections were correct for my whole house. Thank you Tim for the excellent job performed!
Great service, great people, great work
Excellent service! I was stuck with a broken AC and a circuit breaker that kept blowing. I called Timothy, and he was at my house within just a couple of hours. He figured out the issue right away, replaced the faulty parts, and had the AC back up and running quickly. On top of being fast and efficient, he was very polite and professional. Highly recommended! Will Hire again, so glad I found him.
Tim and his team did all the electrical work during the rebuilding of our home after a fire. He and his teram were very straightforward and timely. They showed up when scheduled and were reasonable on the charges. What more can you ask for!
I highly recommend Timothy Santos Electric. They are upbeat, friendly, professional and a pleasure to have in your home! They covered all the furniture and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there. I will definitely use them again!
